TELLER / MAIN OFFICE

BloomBank is accepting applications for a full-time loan teller at our Main Office location. The successful candidate should be responsible, energetic, detail-oriented, have computer knowledge and cash handling experience.

As one of our tellers, you will be the person that customers interact with the most often. Tellers must keep an accurate record of all transactions and pay careful attention to details at all times such as properly verifying a customer's identification as well as adhere to all bank regulations. You must be able to accurately handle a large amount of money and balance cash with all transaction receipts at the end of your shift.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of cash handling experience
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • Strong computer skills (knowledge of Microsoft office)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to details
What we expect from you?
  • Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information.
  • Performs teller transactions to include, but not limited to, processing account deposits, withdrawals, and payments promptly and accurately.
  • Possesses the knowledge, skill and ability to handle complex transactions and address and correct system related issues as they arise.
  • Maintains a high level of operational excellence in the completion of daily teller operations including but not limited to, cash balancing, completing opening and closing tasks and/or performing and/or supporting the completion of periodic cash control and operational audits.
  • Acts promptly and establishes good interpersonal relationships by helping people feel valued and appreciated effectively delivering on the organization’s value proposition.
  • Adhere to all applicable regulatory compliance and personnel policies in the fulfillment of the specific duties of the position, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Confidentiality, Information Security, and Ethical Standards.

Hours
  • Monday 8:30-4:00 (until branch balanced)
  • Tuesday 8:30-4:00 (until branch balanced)
  • Wednesday 8:30-4:00 (until branch balanced)
  • Thursday 8:30-4:00 (until branch balanced)
  • Friday 8:30-5:00 (until branch balanced)
  • Saturday 8:30-12 Noon (until drawers and vault are balanced)
  • Position will have weekly alternating scheduled days off, including Saturdays
